Changing your passwords and security

It is extremeley important in this day and age to be concerned about online security. Just as you would not compromise the security of your personal credit card or bank account information online, it is important to take great care with your online passwords and account information. The more people who have access to your accounts, the higher the chances for security breaches.

Here are some rules of thumb to minimize security issues and hacks for your site:

  • Do not send usernames and passwords through email. Emails are not 100% secure and can also be forwarded to others
  • Do not distribute usernames and passwords to everyone you know or asks for it, usually between the blogsite owner and Realivent all problems can be solved, so keeping this information tight “in-house” to as little parties as possible is the safetest measure.
